WoW Gold-Tournament Realm Phase 4
To the surprise of many players, Blizzard decided to patch 3.1 on the same day that the final qualifying week (where all the marbles count) of the tournament realms. Aside from making the game entirely different for many 3v3 comps out there, Blizzard pulled an even more unexpected move of not resetting the TR ladders for this final push. I honestly can't fathom what Blizzard's logic was (or lack thereof) in making this decision, but there are already some reports from TR coming in such as this one:
(12:00:29 AM): looks like everyone is going to camp their ratings, ive been watching complexity and they're getting 2 point wins at 2384
(12:00:32 AM): and they're down 100 points"
I don't really understand the point of even having this final and deciding week when there are so many inherent flaws in the current implementation of it. WoW Gold.I think Knit summed it up best with his thoughts on the matter in a post on the TR forums about this very topic:
"Biased is biased.
Is it honestly fair for the one week qualifier to be the same week as a game changing patch? Balance issues be damned, it's stupid that there isn't at least some time to adjust to the patch before the real things begins. Can't it argue that about WoW Gold?
