WoW News is the only needed source for World of Warcraft News. We also we have some general M news from various sources. Please use the different news categories in the menu to the left to find what you are looking for.
We also host a well moderated forum in which you can discuss the latest developments in the World of Warcraft world. The people behind this site has previously been involved in the World of Warcraft Gold and Power Leveling industry. As of now, it is not a very profitable industry, thanks to the chinese players flooding the marked with web stores.
The Diminishing WoW Gold
As a combination of the economic crisis, stiffer measures by Blizzard Entertainment and the race to the bottom by chinese WoW Gold suppliers, the total amount of real money that wow players spend on gold is now decreasing. And it has been decreasing for a while. When people have less real money to spend, and there is a bigger chance that Blizzard will ban them for spending it, it is not a surprise. But the real culprit is still the chinese suppliers. For some reason the most obnoxious and notoric sellers try to price dump, spam and do false advertising on the speed of deliveries all the time.
This creates a situation in which serious vendors have to compete with fake ads of "Instant Delivery, Millions in Stock on All Realms". Also the point of having customer support is lost. As of now, people that buy gold usually has to wait for it. Even if "Instant Delivery" was advertised. And the reason they bought was the "instant delivery" in the first place. And since everybody advertise that, choosing not to claim instant delivery would be choosing to lose a lot of customers.
Sales
So now the customer waits for the delivery but there is none made. If there is available support, he will most likely ask for them to cancel the order and refund the money. If there is not, he will wait a day or so before complaining. So there we have it, vendors have good reasons to make false advertising about the speed of delivery, and they have good reason not to provide live support. Add the bannings by Blizzard to this mix and it's actually suprising that people are buying at all.
WoW News Update
The site now has had a minor uptade that fixed how the WoW news are displayed. No more thin articles in multi-columns and also nicer ads and better layout in general, with the biggest noticeable change being the most popular and most resent WoW News being listed at the top of the front page of WoW News. We will continue to supply WoW news for free and only need some WoW ads for financing this. Enjoy your stay at this website and contribute to the forum if you have time!
