FIFA 18’s release date is still some way away, but we’re beginning to get a few details.
We’re taking an early look at what you can expect from the FIFA 18 release date and what you need to know about the new FIFA 18 features and change for 2017. We’ll also walk through when to expect FIFA 18 gameplay videos and screenshots. Additionally, we’ll let you know when you might be able to play FIFA 18 early.

EA confirmed the new FIFA game for a release later this year in a call with investors where we learned a few facts about the game, including new details on The Journey — for Season 2 and we also learn where the team is focusing on delivering a new experience.

After a conversion to Frostbite last year EA is also delivering Madden 18 on Frostbite in 2017, so we can expect to see improvements to both sports titles share some characteristics.
EA is just starting to talk about the new FIFA game for 2017, but we now know that is coming to the Nintendo Switch and are learning more about the game each day.

The FIFA 18 release date is in September. EA did not confirm any specific FIFA 18 release date yet, but the game always arrives in September.

While not tied to the start of a specific season that many U.S. fans follow, the game must land in the midst of Madden 18 and NHL 18 as well as get to gamers before the plethora of fall releases arrive.

Expect the FIFA 18 release date on September 26th in the U.S. and a few days later in other countries. EA Access and Origin Access subscribers should expect a FIFA 18 trial five days before the public release. That means you may potentially get to play FIFA on Xbox One and PC as early as September 22nd.

Unlike Madden 18, we could see a FIFA 18 demo that allows users to test out the new FIFA game on their console. Last year we saw the FIFA demo arrive in mid-September with a limited team selection but the option to play a full game. We expect a FIFA 18 demo around the same time-frame later this year.

EA confirmed EA Play in June, timed up with E3 2017. Unlike the industry event, EA Play focuses on gamers. That means if you can get to The Hollywood Palladium you may be able to play FIFA 18 early.

EA Play 2017 is June 10-12 and if EA keeps the same structure as last year you should be able to sign up and register for play times for popular EA games at the event.
FIFA 18 Graphics

We expect to see improved FIFA 18 graphics that build on Frostbite and FIFA 17. There is no specific mention in the announcement of what we will see, but you can count on some enhancements to graphics.

Expect the best looking games on the Xbox One and PS4. There is a special Nintendo Switch FIFA 18 release, that is not built on a Xbox 360 or PS3 build, but we still don’t expect it to live up to the graphics on the Xbox One or PS4.

 

Expect to see the first fifa 18 coins video at EA Play in June. EA typically saves this reveal for around E3. This first video will likely be a reveal that focuses on a story, but it may not show off much actual FIFA 18 gameplay.
The good news is that EA Play could include press access to the game and live streams that show off early gameplay. Last year FIFA 17 gameplay was scarce at the event, but some users were able to play FIFA.
