NCSoft has officially confirmed that Ludra Raid will return to AION 2 on November 4, 2026, bringing a redesigned encounter, two difficulty options, and a series of limited-time activities for players across all regions. The return of Ludra marks an important milestone for the MMORPG, introducing one of its major endgame challenges alongside new opportunities to earn exclusive rewards.
According to the official announcement, the raid will feature adjusted mechanics and attack patterns designed specifically for its return to the global version. Both Normal and Hard modes will become available immediately, giving well-equipped players the opportunity to test their abilities from the first day.
Ludra Returns With Redesigned Raid Mechanics
Ludra is one of the major raid encounters in AION 2 and is expected to provide a challenging experience for coordinated groups.
The upcoming version will introduce new and adjusted mechanics compared with the previous encounter. NCSoft has not yet revealed every individual boss mechanic, but the changes are intended to provide players with a refreshed combat experience.
The raid will be available in two difficulty settings:
- Difficulty
- Required Item Level
- Normal Mode
- 2,800
- Hard Mode
- 3,000
Both difficulties will open following the November 4 maintenance. This allows players with different levels of equipment progression to participate without waiting for a later difficulty release.
For players targeting Hard Mode, reaching the required Item Level of 3,000 will be an important preparation goal.
The Ludra Hunt Event Rewards the First Successful Teams
To celebrate the raid's return, NCSoft is organizing a limited-time competition called Ludra Hunt.
The event will recognize the first 20 parties in each participating region to defeat Ludra on Hard Mode. Successful teams will receive exclusive titles commemorating their achievements.
The regional competition covers:
- Europe
- North America East
- North America West
- South America
- Asia
The highest-ranked teams will receive special titles, including Conqueror of Ludra, Champion of Ludra, and Challenger of Ludra.
Players who defeat Ludra during the event period can also earn the Ludra Hunter title, even if they do not qualify for the top 20 rankings.
The event runs from November 4 after maintenance until November 24 before maintenance in Pacific Time, giving competitive groups a limited window to secure their positions.
Login Rewards Help Players Prepare for the Raid
NCSoft is also introducing the Ludra Conquest Check-In event, designed to help players strengthen their characters before entering the new challenge.

Running from November 4 through November 17 in Pacific Time, the event offers seven daily rewards across a 14-day period.
The reward track includes:
- 500,000 Bound Kina on Day 1.
- 2,000 Centuryroot Tokens on Day 2.
- 3,000 Phantasmal Fragments on Day 3.
- 30,000 Abyss Points on Day 4.
- 3,000 Soul Crystals on Day 5.
- 1,000,000 Bound Kina on Day 6.
- One Lush Leaf Tiara on Day 7.
Players only need to check in once per day to unlock the next reward. Since there are seven rewards across 14 days, missing a few login days will not necessarily prevent them from completing the entire track.
Twitch Drops and Daeva Bootcamp Add More Activities
The Ludra celebration also includes Twitch Drops and a global community progression event called Daeva Bootcamp.
Through Twitch Drops, players can earn additional in-game items by watching eligible AION 2 livestreams. Rewards include enhancement materials, customization vouchers, appearance items, and other useful resources.
Meanwhile, Daeva Bootcamp encourages players across different regions to complete eligible dungeons and contribute toward shared global milestones.
As the community reaches specific dungeon-clear targets, additional rewards will be distributed through in-game mail. These include Instant Clear Tickets, Intermediate Training Arcana, and Resurrection Stones.
What Ludra's Return Means for AION 2
The return of Ludra is an important development for AION 2's endgame progression. With redesigned combat mechanics, two immediately available difficulties, and a competitive first-clear event, the update gives experienced players a new challenge while providing broader participation opportunities through login rewards and community activities.
For players preparing to enter the raid, improving equipment, coordinating party members, and understanding the encounter will be essential.
With Ludra scheduled to return on November 4, the upcoming update is set to become one of the most significant PvE developments in AION 2's November content schedule.
