The new FIFA esports season has begun, which means Ultimate Team fans can now start earning tokens and other rewards for players in the FIFA World Series (FGS) to use in FIFA 22.
What are FGS Swaps?
FGS swaps are special FIFA 22 tokens you get for watching global events. You can trade them for special rewards in the game. Getting them is easy and requires linking your EA and Twitch accounts as well as watching events. However, only one is available per weekend. Read on as we tell you how to get & claim FGS tokens in FIFA 22.
These SBCs are repeatable, with FUT players able to earn up to eight FGS player Swap Tokens throughout the year.
The main goal of the event is to qualify the best players through PSN and Xbox networks into the FIFA World Cup. The FGS series starts on November 27, but you can already take part in the Squad Building Challenges right now.
How to get FGS Swap Tokens
You get an FGS Swap Token by watching at least 60 minutes of the FIFA Global Series, where players who have reached the Elite Division in Division Rivals compete against each other to make it to the FIFAe Club World Cup 2022.
The full list of how to start earning FIFA 22 Swap Tokens is below:
- Link your Twitch and EA accounts on ea.com/twitchlinking.
- Watch 60 minutes of eligible FIFA 22 Global Series Event or Events when there are multiple on a single weekend on the official EA SPORTS FIFA Twitch channel.
- Receive one FGS Player Token Item in-game
- Tune in to more eligible events on different weekends to earn more FGS Player Token items.
- Redeem your FGS Player Token items in-game for Pack Rewards.
Events will start on the weekend of December the 5th and 6th. This will be either the West Asia Regional Qualifier or the South America Regional Qualifier. - Team of the Year Cup - Friday, 21 January - Sunday, 23 January 2022
- Team of the Season Cup - Friday, 29 April - Sunday, 1 May 2022
