I am sure a top horde rogue already experienced against shamans, with better gear than I have, can use Prep/COS to defeat even the best of the best shamans. You need good stamina, but you also want a lot of +healing items against a shaman with low DPS. I used heroism against him, with 2T3 about WoW Gold (or 8BF), throw in dual life steal if you want to go that far, blind bandage (twice if you manage everything perfectly), and it is a lot of healing to get cheap wow gold.

He will have to DPS potentially 10K+ HP, 30 second evasion, 10 second spell immunity, and keeping himself alive at same time.
